Hi! I’m Dustin.

Literally no tour guide on Earth can show you a better time at the museum.

I’ve spent nearly two decades leading customized tours and events at cultural institutions across the globe. Designed to turn museum skeptics into museum lovers, coworkers into team-workers, and prospective clients into actual ones, every museum experience includes incredible stories, behind-the-scenes gossip, interactive challenges, fun photos ops, snacks, prizes, and—of course—directions to the secret bathrooms.

Highlights from the American Museum of Natural History:

  • touching the oldest/heaviest single object you’ve ever laid your hands upon

  • planning the (hypothetical) heist of your favorite gemstone

  • DIY instructions on hanging a 21,000 pound whale from the ceiling

  • maximum number of animal puns legally allowed by the State of New York

  • a flying carpet, bullet holes, why you should never trust otters, a fossilized penis, and dinosaurs (duh)

Highlights from the Metropolitan Museum of Art:

  • the object the museum paid the most to acquire

  • how 640 tons worth of Egyptian temple ended up inside the museum (hint: it’s a Kennedy)

  • sounding like a Renaissance painting expert in under 30 seconds

  • a very serious investigation into why there are no penises on Greek and Roman statues

  • Marie Antionette’s dog house, J.P. Morgan’s robotic drinking game, Aristotle getting spanked, the world’s oldest piano, and ghosts (maybe)

“Dustin was dino-mite! He shared context and origins of exhibits and highlighted which narratives were left out, and he did it with great humor and enthusiasm. It sounds like a cliché, but he made the history behind the museum come alive. He was smart, funny, and had our two teenagers fully engaged for the entire time. Dustin was an entertaining and energetic guide who made the time fly by too quickly. With Dustin, you genuinely get an insider’s view of this fantastic natural history museum.” - Christopher F. via TripAdvisor

“This was a really great tour! As someone who has been to The Met many times I was shocked by how much fun I had as well as how much information I didn't know. Dustin was an incredible tour guide, he was super funny and knowledgeable and made the tour interactive, interesting, and informational for everyone in the group. I highly recommend going on a tour with Dustin!” -Rachel S. via TripAdvisor

“LOL this guy is hilarious!!! - Alie Z. via Zoom
